Barage Complect Ltd. has completed construction of and commissioned three sites on the grounds of Beloizvorski Tsiment AD, these being: “Reconstruction of the silo feeding systems No. 13, 14 and 15”, "Vehicle loading area for bulk cement”, “Coal grinding plant, coal unloading complex, covered warehouse and transportation of coal”, “Covered warehouse for limestone - reconstruction and extension”. At the present moment the following sites are under construction: “Feeding systems for cement mills 1 and 2”, “Delivery and installation of silos for cement additives”, “Reconstruction of the filter of 2nd cement mill”, “Clinker cooler 2 dusting system – reconstruction”, etc.

Work on the site “Coal grinding plant, coal unloading complex, covered warehouse and transportation of coal” included construction and installation works such as:

• Framework and concrete works;
• Manufacture and installation of 540 t of metal structures of rolling and hot rolled steel of bolted connections;
• Reconstruction of trestle No. 4;
• Trestle No. 5;
• Hydro insulation of reinforced concrete construction;
• Anti-corrosion protection;
• Installation of technological equipment;
• Start-up and commissioning works.

Installation and start-up and commissioning works of technological equipment have been implemented on the site, including for:

The execution of the contract for site "Vehicle loading area for bulk cement” starts to run from the beginning of May 1999. Barage Complect Ltd. has carried out the following construction and installation works:

• Dismounting of existing beams, columns, connections;
• Sandblasting of existing steel structures;
• Painting and installation of new elements;
• Delivery and installation of trapezoid curved sheet iron with two-sided plastic coating;
• Framework, reinforcement and concrete works;
• Manufacture and installation of 460 tons of metal structure of hot rolled profiles and rolling steel.

Installation and start-up and commissioning works of technological equipment have been implemented on the site, including for:

• cement loading head;
• cement silos with dispensing system;
• pneumo-transportation;
• command fitting for aeration of pneumo-transportation and others;

At the present moment, the following site is under construction: “Warehouse for limestone – extension and reconstruction”. The execution of the construction constitutes completion and reconstruction of stage ІІ of the warehouse for raw material and construction of an entirely new one – stage ІІІ with an additional length of 108.80 m. The extension is envisaged to be with 18 new axes, extending south of the existing warehouse.

For this purpose, the already built metal construction is being used from axis No. 49А to axis No. 63 and a new extension is being made from axis No. 64 to axis No. 81 with the same constructional solution. The load-bearing metal construction of the three stages is identical. The warehouse will be equipped with new technological equipment, using which the loading and unloading of the raw material, delivered by SHADE, will be carried out.

The construction and installation works of the site include:

• Demolishing a part of the existing monolithic section – foundations, beams, battering walls, etc at elevation of 0.00 m;
• Making of foundations – 36 pcs. for the main load-bearing beams;
• Making of new monolithic constructions at elevation of 0.00 m, in relation to the new technological equipment;
• Manufacture and installation of the entire metal construction;
• Making of battering walls between the foundations at the end of the warehouse;
• Installation of railways for the technological equipment;
• Making of roof cladding with shaped sheet iron with a plastic coating NERGAL.42.1000;
• Delivery and installation of the new main and supporting technological equipment, necessary for the new warehouse for raw material.

Work on the site shall be conducted in two stages. The first stage shall include:

1. Reconstruction of inlets of mills and construction of new silos for additives, including:

• Making of foundations;
• Installation of a metal construction with junctions of high strength bolts;
• Delivery and installation of three silos for additives;
• Installation of belts, dosing units and other technological equipment.

2. Reconstruction of a mill outlet and filters as per project of SCHEUCH. The second stage includes reconstruction and repair of a drum and mill drive systems.

The project includes replacement of an existing multi-cyclonic filter with a new sleeve filter, preceded by a heat exchanger for reducing the temperature of the gases going into the filter for purification. The heat exchanger is equipped with eight axial fans, situated in 2 columns. From the fan, the gases rise up to 40.45 m through a chimney with a 2,800 mm diameter. The chimney has a reinforcing truss structure and the obligatory deflector. The winking valves under the sedimentary hopper and the hopper under the chimney are also being replaced with new double ones with emergency operation.

The technological equipment, installed on the site “Clinker cooler 2 dusting system”, is made and delivered by the company REDECAM – Italy. The newly installed chutes with winking valves between the hopper and the reddler are made and delivered by the company Zorini OOD. Balkanstroy AD has performed the installation of the following technological equipment:

• Gas pipe from a clinker cooler to an air cooler, made by REDECAM;
• Air heat exchanger, type RF Redecam, model RF 2x4 472t12/80;
• Sleeve impulse filter, type Redecam 5 DPA 11x12/5, included in the set: 3 gathering augers f300 and winking valves;
• Fan, type ABB Solyvent – Ventec;
• Returning reddler for dust;
• Chute from a returning reddler to an existing reddler;
• Double winking valves for dust SAN 315 with emergency operation, etc.
